Local news and information
Energy 106 does not currently broadcast regular scheduled news bulletins.
We provide local traffic and travel updates during our weekday drivetime programming, sourced from Trafficwatch NI.
We may also provide locally relevant information, event information, weather-related updates, listener information, community information or other local content where appropriate.
Programmes
Energy 106 broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our programming is focused on dance music, entertainment, listener interaction, specialist shows and locally relevant content for audiences in Belfast and across Northern Ireland.

Programme production
Programming during weekday daytimes is not routinely automated.
Evening, weeknight, overnight and weekend programming may be live, pre-recorded, voice-tracked, syndicated, supplied from other sources or automated.
We use automation and voice-tracking where appropriate to maintain a continuous 24-hour service.
Local programming
Energy 106 programmes are broadcast from our studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Our normal locally produced weekday programming includes:

Other programmes in the evenings, overnight and at weekends may be pre-recorded, supplied from other sources, voice-tracked or automated.
Coverage and platforms
Energy 106 broadcasts on DAB+ digital radio.
Our current DAB coverage includes services carried on:

- Block 9C
