Like every licensed commercial radio station in the UK, Energy 106 (Belfast) has obligations regarding its programming, including music and locally relevant content.

Local News & Information
We do not broadcast regular news bulletins.
We provide traffic and travel updates during our weekday drivetime show, sourced from Trafficwatch NI.
Programmes
The station broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Programme Production
Programming within weekday daytimes is not routinely automated. Our evening, weeknight and overnight programming may be automated or voice-tracked.
Local Programming
Energy 106 programmes are broadcast from our studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Monday – Friday 10:00–19:00 Live from our studios
Other shows in the evenings, overnight and at weekends may be pre-recorded, supplied from other sources, or automated.
Coverage & Platforms
We broadcast on DAB radio (Blocks 9A and 9C).

We try to get things right, and not all programmes will be to everyone’s taste.
Where we do make mistakes, we’ll take appropriate action as quickly as we can.
